Patrol DivisionThe Patrol Division is responsible for patrolling and answering calls for service within all of Gilchrist County’s 344 square miles including the rivers and lakes. The Patrol Division is under the supervision of Captain Scotty Douglas. He can be contacted at SDouglas@gcso.us. The primary function of patrol is to protect and serve the citizens. In addition, the deputies serve civil process, execute warrants, conduct follow-up investigations, conduct traffic enforcement, participate in community events, participate in training exercises, attend court and assist other units during emergency or high load periods. |
